Serneke is one of Sweden’s largest and fastest-growing construction companies, with more than 1,000 employees and a turnover of almost a billion Australian dollars. Recently Serneke began expanding overseas by merging with Perth-based Consortium Builders. Together we are focused on multi-residential and community buildings with a preference for modern, offsite timber construction methods.
We are developing an Infill Co-development model of highly livable, medium-density dwellings to address Perth’s inner-urban densification challenges. Our “Montage” concept offers a socially sustainable, inter-generational alternative designed to promote health and well-being today and for the next generation.
We care about;
what we build,
where we build, and
how we build.
We care about;
who will occupy our buildings for the many years after we’re gone,
and the impact our actions will have on people and our planet, both during and after construction.
So we also care about why our projects are being built.
We are only interested in projects that share these values.
We now have access to building materials and methods which allow us to design and build much more quickly and accurately, with less waste and less noise; to create buildings with very low embodied energy; buildings which are comfortable, highly livable, and cheap to run.
