Design & Planning
Naturaliste Land Surveys
I have, for many years, believed there has got to be a better way to “develop land” than by just creating legal boundaries & providing infrastructure. What has been missing for too long is the creation of community in living spaces – indoor & out, & achieving longer term sustainable building principles within these spaces. There are limitless opportunities & needs to create small scale eco developments for a changing world & demographic.
In my role as a land surveyor, I can provide
Feature & Contour survey services & Strata subdivision services where Titles can be created which includes Common Property for many benefits.
Sub-divisional Project Management services & other professional services such as set outs & re-establishment surveys.
I have been a qualified & passionate Green Community Licensed Land Surveyor for almost 30yrs.

Edgefield Projects is a boutique design consultancy specialising in urban design and housing, with particular expertise in precinct planning for density, infill housing, activity centres, design guidelines and review, ecovillages, retirement housing, and transit-oriented developments. We work collaboratively with State and Local Government, private developers, community groups, and landowners to launch new projects. This includes exploring the development capacity of a site, creating an inspiring vision, assisting in overcoming commercial obstacles through clever strategy, putting in place appropriate development controls, and then guiding the project through the various stages of design to realise the intended outcome. Owner Jeff Thierfelder has qualifications in architecture, town planning and real estate development, is a Registered Planner (PIA), and has 20 years of award-winning industry experience.
